A PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
Why Do We Need Mold Testing?
There are several different types of mold and some are more hazardous to your health than others. Prolonged exposure to mold can lead to illness and sometimes serious health issues.
We perform a wide range of tests during our mold testing process. We can take air samples to determine how many mold spores are present. The air samples are diagnosed by a lab and they can give us information such as the type of mold present and how much mold is in the air by giving us a parts per million reading. This information will help us write a scope of work to properly perform the mold remediation.
We Are Mold Detectives
During our assessment we are not only taking air and physical surface samples but we are also locating the source of the problem. A slow leaking water line or maybe a cracked foundation could be the culprit.
It is very important to find the source of the problem so that it can be corrected and stop future damage. We have an inventory of moisture detection equipment and it helps us to determine where the moisture has traveled. Even without the physical presence of mold on the walls, ceiling, and woodwork more often than not there is damage behind the surface if there is moisture present. This damage could not only have an effect on your health, but it can affect the structural integrity of your home.
