A PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
Pipe Leaks
If you have a leaky pipe that can be a big problem and it will need to be remedied rapidly to prevent further damage. First shut off your water supply so you won't have water running. If need be, shut off the supply to the entire house. You'll usually find the shut off valve near the water meter, often located in the basement area of your home.
Burst Pipes
If you have a pipe that has split open you'll want to turn off the water supply to the leaky pipe. If you are not sure which valve turns off the source you may need to turn off the supply to your entire home. If the leaky pipe is near an electric appliance you should switch off the main electric supply to your home as well.
Frozen Pipes
If you have a pipe that is frozen, the first thing to do is to turn off the source of the water. Then call us immediately at 215-880-1143. We will determine the reason your pipe froze and come up with a plan to thaw the pipes. If the pipe is broken we will repair the pipe and make recommendations to prevent future freezing of your water pipes.
